Yes, absolutely! We will customize the womb healing sessions based on what you need in that moment and what feels best for your body. You know your body best and we will honor her. I have held sessions with women experiencing pregnancy and postpartum, including my youngest sister, along with other clients experiencing cancer and complicated medical conditions.

Yes, I am not a medical doctor or licensed mental health professional.  I do not diagnose conditions nor do I prescribe or perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. Services provided by SHINE Empowerment & Healing do not take the place of medical care. It is recommended that you see a licensed physician or licensed health care professional for any physical or psychological ailment you may have. SHINE’s services can complement any medical or psychological care you may be receiving.

Yes, I am a certified master trauma informed practitioner and coach. I am a fellow survivor of 15+ years of sexual trauma and abuse, plus 5 years of domestic violence, which included emotional, physical, psychological, financial, & sexual abuse. Over the last 4 years, I’ve been trained in consent and trauma-informed care by multiple organizations — including by Futures Without Violence and ICF Coaching Certification.

If you have a history of experiencing sexual trauma and/or any form of abuse, I ask that my services are not the first place you are unpacking & exploring your relationship to those experiences — meaning you have been in some form of therapy or are starting therapy concurrently with our time together.

I hold loving boundaries around this and am willing to provide resources if needed. If I notice your needs go outside my scope, I may recommend you seek outside support from a licensed mental health or medical professional.

I will select who each of you are rooming with based on the information and discussions we have prior to the retreat. Only exception is if you have a friend coming on the retreat and you both selected shared rooms and requested each other.

All payments toward this retreat & 6-month integration period are non-refundable, no exceptions.

To protect your investment if something comes up in the future during the retreat dates, I require you to obtain Travel Insurance. I highly suggest the 'Cancel for any reason' option to fully cover your investment.

I will provide Travel Insurance company options in your Welcome Email along with an agreement with detailed policies, terms, and conditions. You may also find them linked below.

Transfers to another retreat hosted by SHINE Empowerment & Healing or to another individual are allowed. This will need to be discussed with all parties involved and in written documentation with all parties signatures obtained in order to be valid.
